David Markwith

David C. Markwith, 54, of Bethlehem died Saturday, April 23, 2016. Born April 19, 1962 in Scranton he was the son of John Markwith, Sr. of Bethlehem and the late Jennie (Castellano) Markwith.

David was a 1980 graduate of Liberty High School. After high school he worked for Lehigh Litho and more recently for B&M Meat Provisions. But more importantly he loved working on his tan. David loved to be shoeless, shirtless, and sitting in the sun. He was loved by everyone that has ever met him and was known for his HUGE heart and kind ways! David was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, enjoyed golfing and when he could, he loved spending time at the beach. He had a love for animals, domestic and wild. There are many bunnies and squirrels wondering where there daily provider of apples and peanuts has gone. David will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and neighbors but we know he is now happy in sunny Heaven with his loving mother.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, John Markwith, Jr. and wife Linda of Bethlehem, sister, Jennifer Huber and husband Tim of Bethlehem, nephews, Tyler Markwith of Johnson City, TN and Dylan Markwith of Bethlehem and niece Jenna Huber of Bethlehem.

A gathering will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 9-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
