Denise Vazquez

Denise Vazquez, 32, of Freemansburg, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of Rosa Lydia and Cruz Manuel Rivera of Bethlehem. She was the loving wife to Hector Luis Vazquez, Jr. They celebrated their 6th anniversary this past June. Denise graduated from Liberty High School in 2001 and then earned her Associates Degree from Allentown Business School. Denise loved and lived for all of her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her son and husband.

She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband, Hector; parents, Cruz Manuel and Rosa; children, Hector Manuel Vazquez and Mariah Rose Vazquez; brother, Cruz Manuel Rivera, Jr.; and his wife, Lindsay; maternal grandparent, Nicanol Fontanez; her favorite aunt, Mela; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hector Luis Vazquez and Elizbeth “Elly” Vazquez; sister-in-law, Kristin Vazquez; aunts and uncles; and nieces, Sophia, Lily, Cassidy and nephew, Darion. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ana Rosa Fontanez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Infancy Catholic Church.
