Raquel Rodrigues

Raquel (Fontoura) Rodrigues, 85, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Born in Branca, Portugal on September 25, 1931; she was the daughter of the late Ricardo and Candida (DaSilva) Fontoura. Raquel was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years, Eloi Rodrigues on March 2, 2017. Raquel was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church.

She dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed by her 10 children and their spouses; 21 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; and her nieces and nephews. Raquel was predeceased by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Visitation will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
