Stella Nemchik

Stella Nemchik, 97, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was born September 28, 1918 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Vincent and Florentina (Nyzoda) Kroll.

Stella worked as a folder at Millcrest Manufacturing for ten years before dedicating her life to her family. She was a former parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Stella was also a wonderful cook.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Barry J. Nemchik and his wife, Nancy of Bethlehem Twp.; grandchildren, Elissa Pesesko, Scot Nemchik and Amber Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Katya, Harlow, Alexis, Andrew, Evan and Everly; her sister, Eleanor Welty and brother, Walter Kroll. Stella was preceded in death by her companion, Charles “Wedge” Pastelyak; her brother, Joseph Kroll and sisters, Mary Kroll, Florence Flammer, and Agnes Boykevich.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 immediately followed by a prayer service. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
