Victoria Pillar

Victoria Pillar, 91, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Kirkland Village. She was born in New Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Shelesky. She was the loving wife of the late, Martin A. Pillar, Jr. They were married 64 years before his death in 2011. Victoria dedicated her life to her family and also loved to cook and laugh.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Martin A. Pillar, III and wife, Gail; Victoria, wife of Thomas Papp, Susan Kemmerer and Sharon, wife of William Gregus; brother, Anthony Shelesky and wife, Martha; sister-in-law, Jean Shelesky; grandchildren, Jennifer and Janelle Schoener, Bill Papp, Briana and Hunter Pillar; and her great-grandchildren, Janese and Jayda Cruz and Laci and Lena Howells. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Shane Martin; and brothers, George, Joseph and Edward Shelesky.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
