William Heineman

October 12, 1938 — January 11, 2018

William Heineman, 79, of Bethlehem passed away on Thursday January 11, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus. He was born on October 12, 1938 in Scranton, PA, the son of the late Lloyd and Marion (Campbell) Heineman. He was the husband of the late Jean (Grube) Heineman. Bill was a warehouse worker and forklift operator for Capital Records in Bethlehem for 22 years and Americold in Fogelsville for 11 years. He was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown and served his country in the US Army. Bill loved sports and could talk about Philadelphia sports teams to anyone who would listen. He also greatly enjoyed watching his grandchildrens sporting events.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, David and wife Amy of Bethlehem, brother, John Heineman and wife Mary Lou of Glenside, PA, grandchildren, Julia and Matthew and brother in law William Grube and wife Gini and family.

Funeral services will be held 11a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will be held from 10-11a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church 1933 Hanover Ave. Allentown, PA.
