Agnes Pinter, 93, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Kirkland Village in Bethlehem. Born May 13, 1913 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Magdalena Lazar Gubish and the step-daughter of the late Mary Gray Gubish. She was married to her first husband the late Ernest Skrilecz and her second husband the late Joseph Pinter.
Agnes worked as a floor lady at Chick-a-Dee and Muriel Dress Factory. She also owned the former L & A Dress Factory in Allentown which she sold in 1953. She was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, where she was a secretary for the missionary for 20 years. She was also a member of the First Windish Fraternal Benefit Society.
Agnes will be lovingly remembered by, her brothers, Edward J., William and Charles Gubish, sister, Helen Barbarics and step-daughters, Mary Schadler and Elizabeth Snyder. She was preceded in death by, her first husband, Ernest Skrilecz, brother, Lawrence Gubish and three sisters, Mary Kelemen, Irma Moretz and Grace Kucsan.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Monday, November 13, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park, in Allentown.
