Alex Pinczok

Alex Pinczok, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020. He was the son of the late Anna (Gurey) and Alex Pinczok. He was the loving husband of the late Dolores (Pluski) Pinczok whom he selflessly and lovingly took care of before her passing. Alex proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a gunner on the USS Wisconsin and USS Missouri where he met President Truman. Alex retired from the Bethlehem Steel after 40 years. He was also a roofer, truck driver and farmer. He enjoyed farming and bus trips to the casino but especially loved his time spent with his family. He had a strong belief in God and was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. Alex was an inspiration to those who knew him. He left school in 8th grade and had an unmatched work ethic that provided a great life for his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Alison Zawarski (Taras), Alicia Gruenewald (William), Johnna Friedman (Stuart) John Pinczok, and Deeann Jones (Scott); sister, Anne Pinczok and 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church 1140 Johnston Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to ALS Association 321 Norristown Rd. Suite 260 Ambler, PA 19002.
