Antonio "Tony" Marques

Antonio “Tony” Marques, 70, of Bethlehem Township died unexpectedly Sunday, October 21, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill Campus. Born June 19, 1948 in Oliveira de Azemeis, Portugal he was the son of the late Albertina T. (DaSilva) and Eurico Marques. He was married to Alice (Isidoro) Marques with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage this past May 5th.

Tony worked and retired from Lisbon Contractors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, playing soccer and watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Tony was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights, the Portuguese American Club as well as the East Bath Rod and Gun Club.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Alice, sons, Jason Marques and wife Julia, and Matthew Marques and wife Amanda, sister, Maria Miranda, granddaughters, Eliana and Lawsen, niece, Beverly Bruno and husband, Jeff, and nephew, Sidney Miranda, great nieces, Miranda and Ava. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jose Miranda.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA from 7-9 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 First St., Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 12 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made in Tonys name to the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St, Bethlehem PA 18018
