Charles A. Gallo, 87, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at St.Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. He was born February 1, 1920 in Bethlehem, the son of the late Louis A. and Anna Pulchar Gallo. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Lennert Gallo. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past May 18th.

Charles worked as an electrician for Bethlehem Steel for 43 years. He was an enthusiastic handyman around his home. He enjoyed painting watercolors and oils in the style of Bob Ross. He would commemorate holidays, birthdays and anniversaries with special hand painted greeting cards. He also enjoyed golf and was an avid fisherman. Charles was a member of SS Cryil & Methodius Catholic Church, the MORA Club and the Slovak Catholic Sokols.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elizabeth, sons, Charles Gallo, Jr. & his wife Sandra of Connecticut; Francis Gallo of Minnesota; daughter, Annette, wife of Gary Findon of Nazareth; brother, Stephen Gallo of Texas; four grandchildren, Ryan Gallo, Lisa and her husband "V" Canada, Abby Findon, Dallas Humphrey; his two great-grandchildren, Jaiden & Kaila Canada.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Louis, Joseph & Michael Gallo and his sister, Rose.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by

a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be held, Monday, February 4, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA
