Cleo V. Haines

Cleo V. Vasiliadis Haines, 75, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 in her home in Hanover Township. Born May 8, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Maria Kanalla and Evangelos Vasiladis. She was married to the late Richard Haines.

Cleo worked for the former Bethlehem Steel as a Fax Operator. After retiring from Bethlehem Steel she went on to work for the Bethlehem Area School District as a teacher's aide. She was a member of the St. Nickolas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem and its Senior Citizen Group. She was also a member of the Kids Peace Auxillary. Cleo enjoyed reading, walking, puzzles, traveling and especially the time she shared with her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Lee Haines and wife Kristin of Gonzales, LA and Douglas Haines and wife Jill of Bethlehem, brother, Kostas Vasiliadis and wife Thelma of Bethlehem and sister, Vasilia wife of Louis Chiadis of Red Lion, PA. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren, Jarred, Hailey, Leah and Nicos.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at St. Nickolas Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10-11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, in Allentown. Arrangements under the guidance of Connell Funeral Home.
