Edwin Amador, Sr.

Edwin Amador, Sr., 48, of Allentown, PA passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem, surrounded by his family. Born December 26, 1962 in Puerto Rico he was the son of Francisco Amador and Mercedes Padilla. He married Patricia Grello Amador. They spent over thirty years together and on this past October 23rd they celebrated their 17th year as a married couple.

Edwin worked as a cook for Thomas's Diner, the Lantern Restaurant and also the Candlelight Inn. He also worked for Fluid Energy in Hatfield and O'Brien's Moving and Storage. Edwin was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed shooting pool and bowling and he had a passion for riding his motorcycle.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia Amador, son, Edwin Amador, Jr., daughter, Sylvia M. Amador, mother, Mercedes Padilla, father, Francisco Amador, brothers, Franky, Willfredo and Francisco Amador. He will also be missed by his five grandchildren, Khalil E. and Julian Amador, Jayden L. and Jeremiah J. Pena and Brianna L. Cirino.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-9 PM.
