Eleanor Antol

Eleanor Antol, 85, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on November 14, 2018. She was born July 18, 1933 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Michael and Susan (Billetz) Bandurich. Eleanor was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 61 years, William Emil Antol.

Prior to dedicating her life to her family, Eleanor worked at Champion Sparkplug. Eleanor loved spending time with her family; she especially appreciated sharing time with them at their cabin on Lake Wallenpaupack. Eleanor had many talents, including fishing, baking, cooking, and canning. She spent time on puzzles and was a former member of the Independent Citizens Club Ladies Auxiliary. Eleanor was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church.

She will be dearly missed by her children, William T. Antol, Tina M. Vince (David J.), Joseph M. Antol (Susan Stark) and John W. Antol (Diane); grandchildren, Derek, Briona (Grace), Brandon (Shelby), Michael (Heather), Alana, Leah, Chelsea and Daniel; great grandchildren, Tyler, Dakota, Blake, Emerson, and Jackson; sister, Joan Vargo; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Anna Bandurich, Mary Chando, Evelyn Vuksta and Michael Bandurich.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Sunday, November 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. An 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 1817 1st St., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Condolences may be offered at www.connellfuneral.com.
