Fanny "Magan" Hartranft

Fanny G. "Magan" Hartranft, 65, of Bethlehem died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 at the Hospice House of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg. She was the daughter of the late William and Hazel Carr Magan.

Fanny had been employed by the Beth. Steel Co. from 1961 - 1994 and by Blue Cross, first in Allentown and later in Harrisburg. She retired in December of 2005.

She was a graduate of Liberty H.S., class of 1961. She bowled for many years at the East Allentown Fire Co. and was an avid fan of the Raiders and the Phillies.

Fanny is survived by daughter Dorinda and son Bill and his wife Michelle all at home, a step son David L. Hartranft of Easton, brothers Harry and Richard L. and his wife Barbara and sister Shirley, wife of William Eshbach all of Bethlehem. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael and Matthew. She is predeceased by brothers William and Robert.
