Frank J. Kery

Frank J. "Tex" Kery, 93, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday March 19, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on October 22, 1917, he was the son of the late Emery and Rose Kovacs Kery. He was the husband of the late Anna Hari Kery.

He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 42 years then Saucon Valley Country Club for 20 years. He was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, the Bethlehem Auxiliary Police, and a lifetime member of the North End Wanderers and the Jefferson Democratic Club. He and his wife Anna loved listening and dancing to the music of the Big Band era.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Robert and wife Rosemarie of Surprise, AZ, daughters, Lois Kery, Patricia Donchez, and Geri Kery, all of Bethlehem, grandchildren, Peter, Christopher, Keri, and C.J., great grandchildren, Briana, Shawn, Joshua, Lucas, and Evan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, George, Arpad, and James, sisters, Anne Feilbach, Elizabeth Gross, and Helen Sule.

An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 23rd in St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, 617 E. 4th St. Bethlehem 18015. Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home, and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the St. Luke's Hospice House for a Memory Tree, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
