Gladys Rivas

Gladys Rivas, 55, of Bethlehem, died February 20, 2021 in her home with her family by her side. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Reina Rodriguez and Agustin Rivas.

Gladys was always happy and enjoyed family time together where everyone ate and laughed. She also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles. Gladys was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Carmen, Delia, Alicia, Valentina, Maria, Norma, Manuel, Orlando, Ricardo, Miguel, Antonio, and Gregory Rivas, and many nieces and nephews who she treated as if they were her own children. She was preceded in death by her sister, Justina Rivas.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 at 10 AM. A calling hour will be held at the church Saturday morning from 9-10 AM.
