Helen E. Vaitekunes

Helen E. Vaitekunes, 95, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday April 1, 2008, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. Born on October 12, 1912, in Nesquehoning; she was the daughter of the late Emery and Mary Martin Herczeg. She was the wife of the late Otto F. Vaitekunes.

She is survived by: granddaughters, Robyn Zippilli and Jana Sommers; grandsons, Matthew and Gregg Patay; great granddaughters, Ashley and Samantha Sommers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: daughters, Nancy Hydusik and Joyce Patay; brothers, Emery Jr., Joseph and Frank; sister, Rose Szabo.
