Helen Vernosky

Helen Vernosky, 95, of Bethlehem, passed peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2017. She was born October 1, 1921 in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Sever) Persa. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Alan Vernosky, Sr.

Helen worked for Western Electric for 10 years prior to dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker. She was very proud to be an active member of St. Johns Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Karen Kendall of Macungie; son, Michael Alan Vernosky, Jr. and his wife, Andrea of Valparaiso, IN and grandson, Ben. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Hoch and Anna Cottage and her brothers, William, John, Frank, Alex, Steve, and Bela Persa.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Johns Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, 617 E 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 with the funeral service to immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
