Irene T. Zelko

Irene T. Zelko, formerly of West Bethlehem, and a long time resident of Holy Family Manor, died Sunday, June 14, 2009. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Skerlak Zelko.

Irene worked as a waitress for many years in several Bethlehem area restaurants, retiring in 1984. She was a very giving person, and she loved fashion, sports radio, and her family. Irene was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.

Survivors: Daughter, Eileen Guinther & husband Glenn of Slatington, PA; Sisters, Mary Repsher, Agnes Kost, and Elsie Cassidy, all of Bethlehem; granddaughters Erin & Devon Guinther. She was preceded in death by her brothers Edward & Rudy.

Arrangements by Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A Mass will be held in church on Wed., June 17, at 10 AM, with a viewing in the church prior to mass, from 9-10 AM.
