Irvin L. Munshaur, Jr

Irvin L. Munshaur, Jr., 73, of Bethlehem died at home on Saturday, September 04, 2010. He was the husband of Helen Bazeka Munshaur with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage this past August 15. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Mary Serfass Munshaur of Bethlehem and the late Irvin L Munshaur.

Irvin mostly worked as a self employed general contractor. Over the years he had also been employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Co., Durkees and Lehigh University.

He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in 1960-61 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of the Republican Club of Ft. Hill, the Ft. Hill Demos and the Tammany Democratic Club.

Surviving along with his wife and mother are a daughter Denise, wife of Jon Young of Williams Twp., a brother Robert and his wife Joann of Bethlehem and a sister Donna, wife of William Benkovic of Bethlehem.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
