James T. Shak, 68, passed away on Saturday February 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born on June 26, 1944 in Bethlehem, son of the late Peter and Margaret (Angerman) Shak.
He was a salesman for Bethlehem Steel and later worked in energy management until his retirement in 2001.He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Eagles.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Brian Shak and wife Kelly of Nazareth, son, Cory Shak of Bethlehem, daughter Lindsey Shak of Bethlehem, 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Evan, and Brayden Shak, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Edward Shak.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Saturday February 16, 2013 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. Calling hours will be from 10am-11am at the funeral home.
