John Mayer, 59 of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, October 21, 2017. He was born in Allentown, the son of the late John P. and Mary C. (Gallagher) Bates.
John was a member of the Special Olympics and a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Robert Bates and his wife, Donna Marie of Northampton.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Special Olympics Lehigh County, Park Professional Bldg., 2200 Hamilton Blvd., Suite LL4, Allentown, PA 18102.
