John Michael Pusch, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at St. Lukes Hospital.
He was born in New York, NY, the son of the late Joseph and Agnes Dobrovodsky Pusch.
John retired in 1979, after 49 years of service for the Bethlehem Steel Co. where he worked in the Foundry as a molder.
He also worked at the former Dan's IGA for 13 years.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Margaret A. Bednarik Pusch of Bethlehem and his daughter, Sister Donna Pusch O.S.F. of Bethlehem. He is also survived by his sisters, Anna Rushetski and Mary wife of John Polefka all of Bethlehem as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Pusch, Jr. and Andrew Pusch.
John was a member of the USWA Local 2599.
He was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, Bethlehem, formerly Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
John was involved in the Holy Name Society and the parish senior group. He also assisted in running the CYO program, and organizing retreats at St. Francis Friary.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 11 AM at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem.
Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the School Sisters of St. Francis Retirement Fund395 Bridle Path Rd. Bethlehem PA 18017.
