Jose F. Dasilva

Jose F. DaSilva, 72, of Bethlehem Twp., died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill. He was born December 16, 1935 in Veiros Estarreja, Portugal, the son of the late Victorino and Gloria Henriques DaSilva. He was the loving husband of Albina Esteves DaSilva. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary this past August 11th.

Jose worked as a heavy equipment operator for Lisbon Contractors, Inc. in Danboro, PA and retired from Joao & Bradley of Lower Nazareth Twp. in 1992. He was a lifetime member of the Portuguese American Club and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Bethlehem Twp.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Albina, daughter, Theresa A. Reichard of Bethlehem; sisters, Emilia Rezende of Smithtown, N.Y.; Maria DaSilva-Jackow of Kissimmee, FL; and his grandchildren-Autumn, Noah & Vincent.
