Karen Kreie

March 16, 1964 - January 9, 2022

Karen Kreie, 57, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospital on Sunday, January 9, 2022, with Kevin by her side. Karen was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and grew up and resided in Roselle Park, New Jersey, where she attended Roselle Park High School. A year ago, she relocated to Bethlehem. Karen worked in the accounting department at Papetti’s/Michael Foods in Elizabeth, NJ for over twenty-five years. Karen loved cooking, baking, and hosting family gatherings. She will be remembered for her loving way, kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity to others. Karen is preceded in death by her mother: Charlotte Stutzman Kreie, and her father: Philip “Skip” Kreie. She will be lovingly remembered by her fiancée, life partner, and love of her life: Kevin Dooner; brother: Richard Kreie and his wife Kim; step-mother: Kathy; step-sister: Lisa; niece: Melissa and her husband Scott; nephew: RJ; great-nieces: Grace and Maggie; aunts, uncles, cousins; fur-child: Bones; and numerous friends. Funeral services will be private. A celebration of Karen’s life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem.
