Kevin Charles Rodgers

Kevin Rodgers, 41, of Effort, PA; died on December 1, 2007.

He was born in Bethlehem; the son of the late William Whitey Rodgers and Carol L. wife of John Crilley of Effort, PA.

Kevin was currently a senior at East Stroudsburg University. He previously attended Florida State University, where he developed into a lifelong fan of the Noles.

Kevin formerly worked for Durkee Foods, Strohls Brewery, and BASF.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, mother Carol; Stepfather, John; Sisters, Kathleen wife of Kenneth Andreas of Catasauqua; Lori wife of Rick Kline of Bethlehem; and Step brother John Crilley, Jr. of Effort. He is also survived by his nieces Kelly, Richele, Christine; and Andrea; nephew Richie as well as his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Kevin was preceded in death by his sister, Colleen Rodgers.

He was a member of the Macungie Veterans Association Inc.

Kevin enjoyed bodybuilding, Florida State University Football and the Dallas Cowboys; but he especially loved spending time with his family and many friends who all knew him as "Uncle Kev".

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018 on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 7-8PM.

Another viewing will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 9-10AM with a service to follow at 10AM in the funeral home.
