Lee A. Kembel of Bethlehem, died January 10, 2008 at St. Luke's VNA Hospice House in Bethlehem. She was born in Mt. Carmel, PA. and the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Clinese Urello. She was married to the late Russell J. Kembel, Sr.
Lee worked for 47 years as a legal secretary for Donnecker, Noonan and Prokup. Lee loved her family, friends and playing bridge. She was also an avid football fan always cheering for Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts and Eli Manning and the New York Giants.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nancy Kembel, with whom she resided with in Bethlehem, son, Russell J. Kembel, Jr. of Seattle, sister, Lucy McCabe of Vero Beach, brothers; Joseph and Howard Urello both of Bethlehem, grandchildren; Becky, Mark, Nancy Ann, Rusty, and eight great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her faithful dog companions Molly and Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Nick and Anthony Urello and sister, Dolores Taylor.
Services
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 6-9 PM and on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 9-10:15 AM both at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. A service will be held at 10:15 AM in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mylestone Equine Rescue, 227 Still Valley Rd., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
