Lorraine Eaton

Lorraine Eaton of Center Valley, passed away Friday June 10, 2011. Lorraine was married 45 years. She was predeceased by her husband James E. Eaton in 1993. Born January 28, 1926 in Orange, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Irene Van Allen. Lorraine graduated from Liberty High School in 1944. She graduated from Protestant Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia as a cadet nurse and became a Registered Nurse in 1947. She attended Penn State University taking numerous courses in Real Estate. She became a Real Estate Broker in 1976 and opened Eaton Realtors the same year.

She was predeceased by a beloved daughter, Debra Eaton Glasmire Frey in 1996, a sister Dorothy E. Glagola, and niece Andrea Fortunato. She is survived by her beloved companion Donald Nickolaus, two sons, James E. Eaton, Jr. and wife Karen of Stone Lake, Indiana, and William A. Eaton and wife Dusty of East Allen Township, 10 grandchildren, Jimmy Eaton, Ty Eaton, Courtney Eaton, Adrienne Cranor, Bobby Eaton, Billy Eaton, Janelle Glasmire Malsch, Lauren Glasmire, Heidi Frey Geist, and Heather Frey Uff, and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday June 14, 2011 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. Calling hours will be Monday evening from 7-9PM and Tuesday morning 10-11AM at the funeral home.
