Mary Brandstetter

Mary Brandstetter, 76, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at

St.Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. Born January 14, 1930 in Bethlehem,

she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Veronika Dravec Nemetz. She

was a 1947 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School. Mary worked for

Western Electric for 12 years. She also worked for Holy Family Manor in

Bethlehem for 40 years, retiring in 2001. She will be lovingly remembered

by her family and friends as having a very kind and charitable heart.

She is survived by three sons, Bernie "Butch" Brandstetter, Jr. & wife

Laurie, Kevin Brandstetter & wife Kathy, Mark Brandstetter & wife

Bernadette, siblings, Louis, Geza, Margaret and John Nemetz and seven

grandchildren, Nicole, Robert, Emily, Gianmarc, Claudia, Bethanne &

Alyssa. She was preceded in death by, three siblings, Irene, Joseph and

Stephen Nemetz.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 10

a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed

by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at SS Simon & Jude Catholic

Church 730 West Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Friday, August

18, 2006, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, from 9-10 a.m. both in the funeral

home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
