Mary Jane Musike

Mary Jane C. (Korpics) Musike, age 80, was greeted by Angels in the early morning hours of December 16, 2020. Known by friends and family as Jane, she spent the majority of her life living in Bethlehem, and later moved to Berks County. Jane was preceded in death by her husband William Musike, her parents, Joseph and Eleanor Korpics, her brother Joseph Korpics Jr., and her son-in-law Thomas Ridings.

Guided by her faith, she dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her life. Jane's survivors include her children: Catherine Ridings, Marianne Hertzog (William), Timothy (Robin), and Joseph (Angela), and her grandchildren: Theresa, Andrew, Caroline, William, Tristan, Nathan, Nicholas, and Zoie.

She worked at Hesss Department Store in Allentown before she had children, and then, after raising four children, had a 20+ year career at the CVS drugstore in Bethlehem. Jane and her husband Bill owned the yacht Poinciana, berthed in Havre de Grace, MD. During the summers they spent as much time as possible on the boat, sailing the Chesapeake Bay with friends and family. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and Sundays with Sinatra.

A viewing will be held at Connell Funeral home Tuesday evening 6-8pm December 22nd. Mass will be at Holy Ghost Church 10am Wednesday, December 23rd followed by interment at Holy Savior Cemetery. All are welcome to come celebrate Jane's life.
