Michael Urban

Michael Urban, 86 of Danbury CT died at his home on Saturday January 12, 2008.

He and his wife Anna Kimock Urban of Danbury were prepared to celebrate their

61st Wedding Anniversary on January 25th.

Born in Monessen, Westmoreland County, Pa. he is the son of the late Andrew and Suzan

Pancak Urban.

Mr. Urban worked for Peabody Engineering Corp of Stamford, CT for 41 years

retiring in 1987 as a Tool Maker and was a member of the Peabody Retired Employee Association.

Mr. Urban proudly served as a Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Army during WW II.

He and his wife were members of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Danbury.

Surviving with his wife are his sons; John of Danbury, CT and Michael, Jr. of Bethel, CT and his

daughter Mary Pietka of San Antonio, TX He has 6 grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren

He is also survived by his sister Mary Fenak, of Slovakia

He was preceded in death by his sister Anna Smid, his brother John and grandson Christopher

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 19th with Panachida at 9:00 a.m at the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad Street Bethlehem and followed by Office of Christian Burial at

10:00 a.m.in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite 1140 Johnston Drive Bethlehem, Pa.

A visitation will be held on Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 9;00 a.m. at the funeral home.
