Rosalyn Lynch

Rosalyn Lynch, 80, of Macungie, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

Born in Reading on January 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy S. (Shafton) and Harold E. Schaefer.

Rosalyn graduated from Liberty High School and earned her Teaching Degree from Penn State University.

After 31 years of teaching fifth grade at Forrestdale School in Rumson, NJ, she taught for another five years in Allentown before retiring in 1998.

She was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association-University Park and St. Annes Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her cousin, Elaine Dietrich and nephews, Dan and James Schaefer.

Rosalyn was preceded in death by her brother, Harold E. Schaefer, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 11:00a.m. at Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden St. Bethlehem, PA 18017.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
