Rose M. Svajko

Rose M. Svajko, 93, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem on November 5, 1918; daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Kosanich Berback. She was the wife of the late John Svajko who died in 1987. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, John Jr. and wife, Connie of Greenville, SC; daughter, Barbara Armanios and husband, Sami of Daytona Beach, FL; sisters, Theresa Sandor and Josephine Benko, both of Bethlehem; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stephen and Peter; and sisters, Anna Krajic, Mary Zebrowski and Helen Posivak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18th at 12:30 p.m. in the Holy Family Manor Chapel, 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be held in the Chapel one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
