Rose "Tootsie" Ronca, 83, of Bethlehem Twp. died on Monday, July 4, 2011 at the Hospice House of St. Lukes.She was born May 21, 1928 in Bethlehem; the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Denicola Messina. Rose was a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: She dedicated her life to her family and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lois Ann Mory and her husband David of Fountain Hill and Rosemarie Brotzman of Allentown as well as her grandson Michael Ditalia and his wife Lisa of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her sisters, Mae Dorward, Gloria Corina and Dolores Novak all of Allentown and Carmela Claroni of Bethlehem; her brother Peter Messina of Perkasie; her former husband, Lewis P. Ronca of Bethlehem and nieces and nephews.Rose was preceded in death by her twin sons, Lewis Vincent and Frederick Michael and as well as her brother, Horace Messina. Rose also worked in the Freedom High School Cafeteria. Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018.Another viewing will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 9-9:45 a.m. with at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow.Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
