Agnes Rose Breiner

September 4, 1930 — October 24, 2022

Agnes Rose Breiner, 92, of Bethlehem passed away in her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, October 24, 2022. Born on September 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Marie (Sopper) and Joseph Gabler. She was the loving wife of the late Richard F. Breiner with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

Agnes was an active member of Notre Dame Catholic Church for 65 years, especially in the music ministry. She was a registered nurse, beginning her career at Sacred Heart Hospital and retiring from the PA State Department of Health. Agnes enjoyed playing Bingo and trips to the casinos. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmom and friend who will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark Breiner (Beth), Mary B. Tarnock (Stephen), David Breiner and Ozzie Breiner (Vickie); grandchildren, Matt, Sarah Jack, Ben and Stephen and great-grandchildren, Emilia and Brooks. Agnes was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Latchic, Anna Yohe and Elizabeth Guman.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 in the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame Catholic Church, Kids Peace, 4085 Independence Dr. Schnecksville, PA 18078 or to Lehigh Valley Hospice 2024 Lehigh St. Suite 100 Allentown, PA 18103.
