Aida I. Barcelo, 81, of Bethlehem and formerly of Brooklyn, NY died Saturday September 19, 2009 at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on November 1, 1927; she was the daughter of the late Faustino and Providencia Gonzalez Benitez. She was the wife of the late Hector E. Barcelo who died in 1985.
She was a member of St. Agatha's Women's Club of Brooklyn.
Aida will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Aida Martinez wife of Cesar, Provi Perez wife of Hector, Ada Barcelo-Perez wife of Wilson, and Nilda Koehne wife of Chuck, brothers, Luis and Leonardo Benitez, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Conrada Benitez Berrios and brother Rafael Benitez.
