Alice C. Freeh, (ne Finn) 69, of Center Valley, PA entered into eternal life on Saturday, November 27, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Gerald J. and Aileen (Grady) Finn. Born in Wilkes-Barre PA, her family moved to Bethlehem where she attended St. Anne's School, graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School and graduated from Kutztown with a BS in special education for the visually handicapped. She and her husband John raised their family in Schenectady, New York. She was married for 46 years to her only love, John J. Freeh, Jr., and was beloved mother and grandmother to their three children and seven grandchildren.
Alice's great joys were centered around cooking and hospitality, music, and theater arts. She placed all of her gifts in the service of family and community, with faith at the heart of all she did. A recipient of the Outstanding Educator Award from A Channel of Peace, she found joy in her role in their upcoming film, "The Hail Mary." She spent 12 years as director of the theater program at Bethlehem Catholic High School, and was recognized as Outstanding Alumni. She also directed high school theater in New Jersey, and was a long-time member of the Galway Community Players and the Dorothy Welch Choral Society in upstate New York. Alice loved to entertain, and made it look easy. She filled her home with family and friends for gatherings, holidays, and special events. Her Christmas dcor always included intricate Nativity scenes, inspired by membership in a Fontanini collector's club.
She will be forever remembered by her husband, John; daughter, Rebecca Adomshick (Paul); sons, Brian T. Freeh (Erin); and John G. Freeh; brothers, Kevin Finn, Brian Finn, Gerald Finn, and Neil Finn. Alice was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Finn.
