Amelia M. Rostkowski, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Bosi) Venanzi. Amelia was the wife of the late Stanley J. Rotkowski; they were married for 58 years.
She worked at Lehigh University in Food Service from 1975 until her retirement in 2012. Amelia was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Stanley Jr. and wife Nancy, James and wife Donna, Marie Braxmeir, Anne Weaver and husband Robert, and Susan Rostkowski; brothers, William and Edward Venanzi; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna Kocher; and son-in-law, Edward Braxmeir.
Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, on Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at St. Annes Church, 450 E Washington Ave. Bethlehem. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lehigh Valley Hospice or a charity of your choice.
