Angela Buczui, 38, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Sunday, July 13th in her home. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of Janice (McCarthy) and Michael Buczui.
Angela was a 2005 graduate of Liberty High School and then attended West Virginia University. She lived in Philadelphia for several years, before moving back to the Lehigh Valley where she worked for St. Luke's University Hospital, Valley Wellness Center and Valley Pain Specialist.
Angela was very much a people person. Her bubbly, outgoing personality and positive attitude would light up a room when she entered. She was highly creative, enjoyed painting, decorating, baking, gardening and collecting all things Van Gogh. Angela loved spending time with her family, especially her 4 nephews.
Angela will be deeply missed by her parents, siblings, Christopher Buczui, Heather (Buczui) Zwolak, wife of Zachary, and Jennifer (Buczui) Alper, wife of Rance and nephews Owen and Benjamin Zwolak and Rhys and Ethan Alper, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She also will be missed by her 11-month-old Maltese, Finley. She was preceded in death by Riley Matthew, her 17-year-old Maltese, who was the love of her life, her maternal grandparents, John and Lillian (Peters) McCarthy and paternal grandparents, Lorraine (Weirbach) Ciafrei and Michael Buczuy.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 3rd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. A calling hour will be held on Monday, August 4th at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave, Bethlehem from 10-11 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
