Angela D. Maccini passed away at home Friday, February 13, 2026 after a brief illness. Born in Jersey City, NJ on April 27, 1929, Angela took an early interest in fashion. She began a career in the garment industry while still a teenager, eventually working as a seamstress at Evan-Picone. There she made many lifelong friends and met her husband Ennio with whom she shared over 60 years of loving marriage. She became a stay-at-home mom following the birth of her daughter Ann Marie and dedicated herself to her family, later becoming a devoted caregiver to her parents Antonina (Buscemi) and Salvatore Grillo and her sister Beatrice.
Angela was a devout Catholic. She was a parishioner at St. Anne's in Jersey City for most of her life where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and President of the Padre Pio Group. She was also a member of the Rosary Society. She was especially devoted to The Blessed Mother and Padre Pio. In 1999, she and her husband moved to Bethlehem and were members of OLPH parish.
Angela enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends and loved spending time with them. In the last several months of her life, she spent many happy hours playing Bingo and doing jigsaw puzzles with her daughter and caregivers. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ennio and sisters Beatrice and Frances. She is survived by daughter Ann Marie and her husband, Doug of Bethlehem and grandson, Brian and his wife, Katie of Phoenixville.
