Angelo Joseph Furet

Angelo Joseph Furet, 69, of Allentown, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at St. Luke's Fountain Hill Campus. Born in Albany, Georgia, and raised in East Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Elutatrio Joseph Furet and Eloise (Clark) Furet.

Angelo left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered with his charisma, humor, and vibrant personality. A proud graduate of East Orange High School, Class of 1975, Angelo devoted 28 years of his life as a custodian in the education sector, finally retiring from Code Middle School in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. His dedication to his work and his infectious laughter made a lasting impact on students and staff alike.

Angelo was an ardent sports enthusiast and a true fan of the New York Knicks and the New York Giants. For over 50 years, he passionately supported these teams through every win and loss, sharing his love for sports with family and friends.

Angelo will be dearly missed by his daughter, Badriyah Furet; son, Al Furet; sister, Joelyn Furet-Keita and her husband, Djibril; and seven grandchildren, Jada Edwards, Jaden Edwards, Ellayah Plummer, Jordan Plummer, Al-Muta Furet, Ahmori Furet, and Autumn Furet.

In addition to his parents, Angelo is preceded in death by his daughter, Sadayah Furet; partner, Annie Mackenzie; and sister, Zenobia Furet.

In keeping with Angelo's wishes, there will be no services.
