On April 26, 2026, Ann Marie (Marcin) Nonnemaker, loving wife and mother of three, passed away at the age of 94.
Ann was born on March 31, 1932 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Anna (Balint) Marcin. As a child she lived just around the corner from her future husband Bob Nonnemaker. They married on July 16, 1955 and together raised their 3 children, sending them to Notre Dame, BECA, and SFA.
She had many and varied jobs including in banking and the medical field and if she didn't know how to do something, she quickly learned. Basketball was Ann Marie's favorite sport in school, with golf being a passion later in life.
Ann Marie sang with the Tatras and The Resurrection Choir of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church. She served her Catholic community devoutly for many years as a reader, Eucharistic minister, cantor, and in many other roles. Her faith was unwavering.
After her husband passed in 2022, she moved to California and lived her remaining days in the company of some of her family. She greatly enjoyed attending the ballet performances of her two youngest great granddaughters, dancing at happy hour, and singing in the choir of her senior living community.
Ann Marie loved vacationing with her family, wintering in Florida, attending the theater, shopping for a good deal, singing, cooking, and caring for her family.
Ann Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob. She is survived by her three children, Bob (his wife Susan), Barbara, and Tom (his wife Gabi), her 9 grandchildren, and her 3 great grand children.
Service: Family and friends are invited to her viewing, 10-11am Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. . The interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
