Anna M. Evans

Anna M. Evans, 93, of Nazareth, formerly of 2005 5th St. Bethlehem, died Thursday, August 24, 2006, at Gracedale Nursing Home. Born January 6, 1913 in Cementon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Miklus Fedor. She was the wife of the late Charles D. Evans. Anna owned and operated the Russell Williams Dress Factory in Mahanoy City for 30 years. She retired in 1978. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem Twp., and the Autumn Club.

She will be lovingly remembered by, her son, Charles Evans, Jr. and wife Bernadine of Murrells Inlet, SC; a grandson, Charles Evans, III, and his wife Debra of Bethlehem, great-grandson, Christopher Evans, great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Evans and a sister, Irene Zelasko of Bethlehem. She was preceded in death by her brothers Francis and Andrew Fedor and sisters, Margaret McClements & Catherine Fedor.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 9:45 am at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be held from 8:30-9:45 am in the funeral home.
