Annabelle "Ann" M. (Poe) Konkolics

Annabelle "Ann" M. (Poe) Konkolics, 87, of Bethlehem passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Twp. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Konkolics who died December 11, 2011. Ann was born in Strinestown, PA on September 17, 1937 to the late Herbert and Rose Mary (Debes) Poe, Sr. She was known as the best baker in town, having spent many years sharing her talents with those around her. She worked at the former The Cafe', the former Moravian Cook Shop, and provided delicious meals to students at the Bethlehem Area School District. Her signature dish, the famous strawberry cheese pie, brought joy to friends and family alike. In addition to her impressive baking career, Ann was a devoted housewife and a strong supporter of her children, and served as treasurer for the North Central Little League for many years. Her unwavering love and commitment to her family were evident in all aspects of her life. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: children: Charles J. (Tricia) of Baltimore, MD, John (Jeanelle) of Albuquerque, NM, Stephen (Karen) of Bloomsburg, David (Malisa) of Saucon Valley, Melodie A. (Kevin) Gallagher of Allentown; siblings: Arlene Raffensberger of Mt. Wolf, PA, Herbert (Joy) Poe, Jr. of Mt. Wolf, PA, Pauline Fink of Manchester, PA, June (Dan) Simmons of Mt. Wolf, PA; 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings: Katherine "Kit" Fry & Janet Schaffer.

Services: Friends and family are invited to her viewings from 6-8pm Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem and 10-11am Tuesday July 22, 2025 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 450 East Washington Street, Bethlehem followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
