Anthony R. Glovas, Sr.

Anthony R. Glovas, Sr., 65, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. He was born May 4, 1942 in Bethlehem, the son of the late Joseph and Helen Wukich Glovas. He was the loving husband of Anita Marino Glovas; they celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary last October 6th. Anthony worked as a Heavy Duty Mechanic for Bethlehem Steel for 28 years retiring in 1992.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anita, a son, Anthony R. Glovas, Jr., & his wife Patricia of Center Valley; daughters, Christine Schermann and her husband Joseph R. of Palm Coast, FL; Cheryl Glovas-Rivera and her husband Jorge of Bethlehem; Margaret Dickinson and her husband Dan of St. Peters, MO; a brother, Joseph Glovas of Cocoa, FL; a sister, MaryAnn Takacs of Texas; and his five grandchildren, Kevin & Andrea Wesner, Giovanny & Justin Rivera and Gianna Dickinson.

An 11 a.m. memorial service will be held on Friday September 14th at the Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday.
