Arquimedes Colon

Arquimedes Colon, 87, of Bethlehem passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Maria Cruz and Felipe Colon. He was the loving husband of Anna L. (Diaz) Colon.

Arquimedes was a hard-working steelworker for the Daley Corporation until his retirement. He had a generous and loving spirit, always giving love to those who needed it. Arquimedes enjoyed playing the lottery, trips to the casino and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved his family more than anything and cherished his time spent with them. He really enjoyed family trips to Florida, San Diego and Puerto Rico. He especially loved being "Pops" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Anna L. Colon; children, Marilyn Colon (Richard Rosado), Arquimedes Colon, Jr. (Jodi), Edward Colon and Hector Colon; sister, Leonor Colon Cruz; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Arquimedes was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
