Bernadette A. Bush

Bernadette A. Bush, 93, of Fountain Hill, died Saturday June 23, 2007 at Phoebe Home in Allentown. Born, December 27, 1913 in Fountain Hill; she was the daughter of the late James and Ida Braxmeier Durning. She was the wife of the late Raymond C. Bush who died in 1977.

Bernadette worked as the head cashier for the former Hess?s Department Store for 25 years and was a member of St. Ursula?s Catholic Church of Fountain Hill.

Survivors: son, George J. Bush of Florence, SC; sister, Louise Pors of Fountain Hill; six grandchildren; seven great granddaughters; several nieces and nephews, including her niece Collette Ostertag of Perkasie who was her caretaker and friend for many years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Larizza and siblings, Vincent, James, Patrick and Winifred Durning.
