Bernard C. Brandstetter, Jr., 67, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered for his character, storytelling, and kindness toward others.
Bernie attended St. Joseph Catholic School through eighth grade and graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School, where he was a member of the undefeated 1974-75 football team. In 2004, he achieved one of his proudest milestones by earning a business degree from Moravian College.

An avid Philadelphia sports fan, Bernie attended many Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers games throughout his life.
A devout Roman Catholic and longtime member of Holy Infancy Parish in Bethlehem, Bernie served as a Eucharistic minister and taught CCD for over 20 years. He was also proud of his Windish heritage.
