Bonni L. Frisch, 77, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 26, 2026, surrounded by the deep love of her family and closest friends, after an unbelievably brave and courageous 5-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bonni lived life to the absolute fullest. Known as the life of any gathering, she was famously always the last to leave a party. She lived her days by a simple mantra: In good times and bad, "Always Drink the Wine." Whether she was hitting the floor for weekly oldies dancing or soaking up the sun during her cherished, annual vacations to Dewey Beach, Bonni brought joy, energy, and laughter wherever she went.
Beyond her vibrant energy, Bonni possessed a sharp, brilliant mind and a rare, beautiful grace. She was highly intelligent, loved to keep up with current events, and had sharp instincts and a deep passion for stocks and investments, which never ended after retiring as a Stock Broker. Yet, for all her sharp intellect, she remained the type of person who would listen to everyone, offering an open heart and a completely non-judgmental ear to anyone who needed it.
She may have been the first to leave this party, but there is no doubt she is already getting one started at the next place.
Bonni was predeceased by her parents, Betty Marie (Buffington) and Frederick Cavanaugh, and her brother, David Cavanaugh.
Her spirit lives on in her beautiful family. She is survived by her husband, James "Jimmy" Frisch; her cherished only child, her son Jason, and his wife, Rachel (Weaver) Frisch. She was the incredibly proud and adoring MiMi to her grandchildren, Brady and Emma. She also leaves behind a wide circle of close friends who were blessed to share in her warmth and joy.
Visiting hours will take place at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 4- 6 p.m. on Bonni's birthday, Monday, July 6, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of Bonni's motto "Always Drink the Wine," she encourages everyone to buy a good bottle of wine and make a toast in her honor. Online condolences may be offered at www.connellfuneral.com.
