Charles R. Wolle

Charles R. Wolle, 80, of Bethlehem, died at home on February 4, 2021. He was born in Bethlehem on May 6, 1940; son of the late Walter and Eleanor (Masteller) Wolle. Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Rose M. (Curatola) Wolle.

Charles will be lovingly remembered for his laid-back attitude, his ability to fix anything, and for his proud service in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest love was spending time with his family. Charles retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Parish.

Charles will be dearly missed by his wife, Rose; daughters, Michele Calmar and fianc, Terry Kern, and Laurie Rotz; son, Kevin M. Wolle and wife, Lillian; sister, Margaret Van Horn; brother, Walter Wolle; grandchildren, Andrew, Melissa, and Nicholas Calmar, and Jarrett and Zachary Rotz; as well as seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Wolle.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home and will be private.
